60th Anniversary of Moto LAVERDA in Breganze

In order to celebrate the 60th anniversary of Moto LAVERDA, Breganze hosted a big international LAVERDA-Meeting from July 24th to 26th. We thundered down to Italy on our Laverdas, in hot and humid summer weather which felt like 60 degrees Celsius in black leathers, always trying to find nice country roads. Our group consisted of Roman, Christl, Peter, Andreas, Franz, Hannes, Tom, Maria and Gert.
On Saturday morning participants from all over the world started to gather in the Piazza of Breganze. More than 400 LAVERDAs, arranged by make, filled the site. Nearly every shop had its windows decorated with LAVERDA bikes, LAVERDA parts, old photos and memorabilia. Ride outs, shared meals, presentations, tributes to international LAVERDA-celebrities, music and bike-talk made time go by way too quickly.
A special highlight was the arrival of the four enthusiasts who rode all the way from London to Breganze on their little LAVERDA 100s (www.laverdaforhealth.org). A very interesting experience was the trip to Toni Rossatto, specialist for the "small" LAVERDAs and the visit of Riccardo Oro's new shop.
We are already looking forward to the 70th anniversary!
