With Walter Völsner, Werner Urban and Hansi Mayer we had three LAVERDA riders entering the Power Race in Trieben/Styria. The Power Race is a drag-race for motorcycles of any kind. It takes place on a runway over a total length of 300 metres.
Walter Völsner reports: "Unfortunately the conversion to left hand gear shift on my 1200 did not show the desired success and I will therefore have to try and mend things during winter.
