Willi Werndl and the Boxenstop Museum organised a special exhibition around the subject "LAVERDA 1949-2009 - 60 Years of Legend". Guest of honour was Piero Laverda who had brought the 1000 V6. Karl Dunstberger on his LAVERDA 1200 visited the venue and reports:
"On Saturday 12 September almost 300 LAVERDA fans gathered in Tübingen. After inauguration of the exhibition through Rainer Klink, Willi Werndl and Piero Laverda, they all started for a group ride. This was followed by bike talk and talking shop with Piero Laverda during which Piero had to adorn many a LAVERDA with his autograph. In the evening all gathered for a big Italian buffet.
As a highlight of the weekend demonstration runs were held on the closed up 1.2 km long Au-track on Sunday. It was a special treat to see and hear the LAVERDA 1000 V6 ridden by Piero. Boxenstop manager Rainer Klink had the privilege of doing a lap of the track on this race bike. For the numerous other Italian motorcycle brands who had joined the meeting a separate run was organised."
