5th Meeting of LAVERDA FREUNDE ÖSTERREICH 2010

4 September 2010 - Our annual meeting of LAVERDA FREUNDE ÖSTERREICH was held at Maria Schutz am Semmering/Lower Austria. We got a warm welcome by our hosts the Rumpler Family at the "Gasthaus zum Auerhahn", and their excellent service continued throughout the night until the small hours.

Despite the rainy weather, several LAVERDA riders found their way to catch up with us: Karl S. from Upper Austria brought his grandiose glitter-paintjob 1200. Karl D. arrived on his very early 1200. Gerhard participated for the first time on his blue 1200. Hannes and Sepp formed the Carinthian delegation. Raimund once again got his 1200 SC - which he owned from new - out on the road. Horst presented his red 1200 beauty sporting a few scratches. Andreas challenged his orange-black Cafè-Racer with a ride in the rain. Wolfgang surprised us on his 125 Lesmo. Franz R. showed up on his perfect 1200 SC. Franz S. set spurs to his 750 SF3. Stefan roared in on his gorgeous 750 SF with open megaphone and was the last to go to sleep. Hirschi once again was seriously envied for his green 1200 Streetfighter. Peter and Gert had to share the orange 1000 3CL. Härtling presented his Chopper and Hans visited us from Salzburg. Christl & Roman unfortunately had to leave their 1200 at home.

For next year we hope for better weather and a slightly better turn-up.
