75th Anniversary MOTO LAVERDA Breganze/Italy, 5 – 7 July 2024

It goes without saying that we have to celebrate the 75th anniversary of our beloved motorcycle marque MOTO LAVERDA, and what better place to do so than Breganze, the birth place of our LAVERDAs.
Three of us leave Vienna on Thursday and by the time we arrive in Carinthia in the evening there's eight. Friday morning sees a total of eight LAVERDA riders and one GUZZI rider.
Even though we have to give the Friday program a miss, we safely arrive late in the afternoon in Breganze. Time for an espresso and a cold drink on Piazza Mazzini before we leave for our digs in Sarcedo. In the evening a delicious dinner at the Antica Trattoria Al Capello - it feels so good to be back in Breganze!
Saturday sees the main square filled with around 300 LAVERDAs from all over Europe. We catch up with many old friends and meet new ones from all around the world. At 10 approximately 250 LAVERDA riders take off on a tour of the Asiago plateau. We give it a miss and instead make the most out of the time by visiting the fantastic MUSEO MOTO LAVERDA. The absolute sensation at the museum are without doubt the three LAVERDA 1000 V6 - the original of Piero Laverda and the two replicas by Cor Dees. The other real banger is a LAVERDA 100 Sport DOHC.
Saturday evening 400 enthusiasts rally at the "Orange Dinner". Werner Ricciolini and Marnix van der Schalk aptly provided the background music for this multi-course dinner with a concert from two 750 SFC with megaphones.
This was followed by tributes and the award ceremony on the stage on Piazza Mazzini. Representatives of the clubs receive beautiful gifts. Afterwards there's 70s Hard Rock until well past midnight.
The finale on Sunday is the "Best LAVERDA Contest", tributes to famous LAVERDA proponents like Augusto Brettoni, Eldorado Dossena and Fernando Capellotto and a joint lunch. And in the evening once again live-music on. Piazza Mazzini.

It was wonderful and we'll be back!
