GOISERN CLASSIC in Bad Goisern/Upper Austria - 16.–17. 8. 2025

Rather capricious weather conditions made it hard to complete two consistent races at the Goisern Classic. During the viewing run on Sunday morning the track was wet and slippery, and the tarmac stayed like that for the first heat, whilst for the second heat it had almost completely dried up.
113 motorbikes and 114 cars had entered, amongst them our friends Josef Gastinger on his LAVERDA 500, Gert Schnögl on his Sulzbacher LAVERDA 1200SC, Andreas Bachtrögler on his DUCATI 600 TT2 Replica, Michael Mastny on his Moto Guzzi V50 Monza as well as Erich Weidenholzer/Roland Mallinger on a BMW R50S side car - the engine of the LAVERDA 750 side car is still a work in process.
Only Josef Gastinger managed to handle those adverse conditions delivering two consistent runs and win 2nd place in his class. Congratulations on this success!
