GOISERN CLASSIC in Bad Goisern/Upper Austria - 15.–16. 8. 2026

Hot summer weather prevailed in Bad Goisern at the Hallstättersee See. 124 motorciclists und 126 cardrivers had entered. The route from Lasern up onto the Predigstuhl - with an elevation change of 400 metres - measures 5,5 km and is peppered with many tight corners. On Sunday there was a sighting run and two special stages.

Our starters were: Christian Zettl with his green LAVERDA 750 GT, Karl Zettl with his pretty LAVERDA 500, Gert Schnögl on his LAVERDA 750 SFC, Andreas Bachtrögler on DUCATI 600 TT2, Michael Mastny on Moto Guzzi V50 Monza, Thomas Kollingbaum with a JRZ Guzzi Threewheeler and Erich Weidenholzer and Roland Mallinger, unfortunately however not with their LAVERDA 750 sidecar.

Sensational results: Karl Zettl who had come to Goisern for the very first time secured 2nd place in his class with two perfect runs and a time-difference of 0.56 seconds! Thomas Kollingbaum came 3rd in his class with a time-difference of 1.29 seconds! Our heartfelt congratulations!

Andreas Bachtrögler finished 7th with a time-difference of 2.11 seconds, Michael Mastny unfortunately only 20th. Gert Schnögl could hardly believe that with a time-difference of 6.17 seconds he only finished 18th in his class.
