Dektereff LAVERDA Corsa

The Dektereff LAVERDA Corsa was built up as a racer by Edi Bauer and Rudl Wagner. Our Friend Roman Cudly was part of this project by contributing his machining and milling skills. Frame and swing arm from Motoplast formed part of the chassis. Even the monocoque and fairing could have come from Virginio Stanga/Motoplast, who in the 70’s produced chassis kits, monocoques and fairings for Japanese four cylinder engines. Stanga used to race a LAVERDA and thus some very rare kits for the LAVERDA triples were made.

The Dektereff LAVERDA Corsa was equipped with Campagnolo rims, Lockheed brake callipers, Marzocchi shocks and custom made foot rests with plastic mounts – at the time synthetic sprockets made from Novalon were all the range. The fork might have come from a Ducati, whereas the 3 into 1 exhaust system most likely was a custom product.
