There are those who have the passion for bikes in their blood and Wolfgang Pussecker is one of them.
"I grew up with my Dad's racebikes. Already as a kid I used to help him in his workshop and he took me to hillclimbs and race circuits. Working on his bikes and smelling the scent of oil and fuel simply had to have consequences. I pretty quickly developed a preference for Italian bikes and I don't think I need to explain to any of you why. It took a while, however, until during a bike-show in Eferding/Upper-Austria I spotted "my LAVERDA" and head over heels fell in love."
Wolfgang quickly arranged for a test-ride with Wolfgang Huber, and became the proud owner of a dark green LAVERDA 750 SF1 with 40.000 km on the clock. In his own well-equipped workshop he lined the tank, rebuilt the electrics and step by step replaced all the consumables. In 2011 with the help of Robert "Hirschi" HIrschegger the engine got a complete rebuild. An electronic Sachse-Igniton was fitted and the carburettors were tuned to allow for open bellmouths. Ever since Wolfgang refers to riding his 750 SF1 as "pure bliss"!
"In 2015 I finally spotted a LAVERDA 750 SFC-Replica on the Internet and I immediately liked the bike, so I managed to successfully bid for her. This 750 had probably started out as a 1969 750 GT which was first registered in the Netherlands and later in Germany. Now she is sitting in my Workshop getting prepared for Austrian Historic Vehicle Registration. Since I'm a notoriously meticulous kind of guy I am going to rebuild and improve various specifics. Thus I get back to my beloved workshop hours and in case I get tired my Italian coffee machine is of invaluable help. I'm already very much looking forward to my first ride on my SFC-Replica!"
